This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and service concerns are handled for CV reviews, CV writing, cover letters, supporting statements and related services.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will generally have 14 days from the date the service contract is agreed to cancel. To cancel, email support@newtoncvservices.co.uk with your full name, order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Before work begins
If you cancel before any work has begun, any payment already made for the cancelled service will be refunded in full.
If you ask us to begin within 14 days
You may ask Newton Professional CV Services to begin work before the 14-day cancellation period ends. If you then cancel after work has started but before the service is complete, a reasonable amount may be deducted for the work supplied up to the time of cancellation. The amount will be proportionate to the agreed service and the work completed.
If the service is fully completed within the cancellation period after your express request and acknowledgement, your statutory cancellation right may end once the service has been fully performed.
Completed and personalised work
Once the agreed service has been fully completed, a refund is not normally available merely because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill or did not match what was agreed.
Problems with the service
If you believe the work is incomplete, faulty or not as described, contact us promptly and explain the concern. We will review it fairly and, where appropriate, provide a correction, repeat performance, price reduction or refund in line with your statutory rights. Job interviews, offers or employer responses cannot be guaranteed and are not by themselves grounds for a refund.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method without undue delay. Banks and payment providers may take additional time to display the funds in your account.
